Xiaomi 14, 14 Ultra with Leica camera System Launched In India
Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the company’s flagship smartphone in India, after it was introduced for China and global markets last month at the MWC.
The phone features a 6.78-inch 2K custom C8 AMOLED LTPO screen with peak brightness of 3000 nits, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, has support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It has 1920Hz PWM dimming. The phone runs Android 14-based Hyper OS and will get 4 generations of Android OS upgrades, as well as 5 years of security patches.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and has new 4000mm² Dual-Channel Ice Loop cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design, promising 3 times the performance of traditional VC.
The phone has quad rear cameras with a 50MP 1″ large Sony LYT-900 sensor, f/1.63 ~ f/4 1024-step variable aperture for excellent background blur and also capture every detail clearly and boasting up to 13.5 EV of dynamic range. It has a 50MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera, and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera, all with Leica Summilux lens.
The device also supports Dolby Vision shooting at 4K 60fps and an additional microphone has been added to form a 4-Mic array, enabling both surround sound recording and directional sound recording, said the company. The new Movie mode introduces a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and 180° shutter rule. The all-new MasterCinema encodes HDR videos in 10-bit Rec.2020 to capture richer details, highlights and shadows.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra adopts a brand-new 6M42 integrated high-strength aluminum frame material, with the metal frame extending to the back of the body, doubling the rigidity compared to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It also has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
It has a 5300mAh battery, 90W wired charging that can charge up to 100% in 34 minutes, 80W wireless charging for 100% charge in 49 minutes and 10W reverse wireless charging. There are Xiaomi Surge P2 charging chipsets and Xiaomi Surge G1 battery management chipsets.

Both the devices support variable refresh rate (1-120Hz), offer up to 3000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The display is protected by Xiaomi's custom ceramic glass shield.
